Cruise Sessions – Drive your mates around the ‘Track 5’ configuration at Taupo International Motorsport Park in your car. This session is for cruising only at your own pace and any excessive speed by drivers will be slowed. If you pass an excessive number of vehicles on any lap you will be shown the yellow flag and given a warning. Any reckless driving around other vehicles is not accepted and will be dealt with, and this can include removal of your driver’s band and vehicle’s Entry stickers – there will be NO REFUND to your entry fee if you lose your drivers band

Roll Racing – Roll Racing has taken over from the Drag racing now at Taupo International Motorsport Park. Being held on the back straight, entrants will make their way down the front straight, up the corkscrew with cones dividing the 2 cars, they will roll at around 40km/h once straight the flag will be dropped and they will race off down the back straight. A Snell/DOT or ECE Rated Car Helmet (NOT MX Helmet) with a Head and Neck Restraint is compulsory IF you have a roll cage, along with a minimum Single Layer SFI Rated race suit, SFI/FIA rated Gloves & Race boots. Your car must be fitted with minimum 4 Point Harnesses for driver IF IT HAS A ROLL CAGE. No Passengers Allowed. If your car doesn’t have a roll cage you must wear a NECK FOAM DONUT with your normal car belt. IF your car doesn’t have a roll cage you need to be wearing the following – Helmet, Neck Foam Donut, Minimum SINGLE LAYER race suit, and COVERED Footwear.

Drifting – The drift section of the track will be open at scheduled times of the day to approved drivers via application only. Your car MUST have a roll cage. This is to showcase Rotary’s in drifting, Not to have a go. A Snell/DOT or ECE Rated Car Helmet (NOT MX Helmet) with a Head and Neck Restraint is compulsory, along with a minimum Single Layer SFI Rated race suit, SFI/FIA rated Gloves & Race boots. Your car must be fitted with minimum 4 Point Harnesses for driver and passenger. Passengers must also have the minimum safety gear as mentioned for the driver.

Grip Sessions – Fewer cars on track compared to a cruise session, so more open spaces with an open speed limit! A Snell/DOT or ECE Rated Car Helmet (NOT MX Helmets), minimum Single Layer SFI/FIA Rated race suit, SFI/FIA rated Gloves & Race boots are compulsory for this session. No Passengers Allowed. 3-Point factory seatbelts are ok for drivers only if harnesses aren’t present. IF your car doesn’t have a roll cage you need to be wearing the following – Helmet, Neck Foam Donut, Minimum SINGLE LAYER race suit, and COVERED Footwear.

Burnouts – We have burnouts back!, But this is only going to stay around as long as everyone follows the rules and the WIND isnt going the wrong direction… NO STAND STILLS – Only 1 passenger – Following safety equipment is required – A Snell/DOT or ECE Rated Car Helmet (NOT MX Helmets), minimum Single Layer SFI/FIA Rated race suit, SFI/FIA rated Gloves & Covered footwear are compulsory for this session. 3-Point factory seatbelts are ok for drivers only if harnesses aren’t present. IF your car doesn’t have a roll cage you need to be wearing the following – Helmet, Minimum SINGLE LAYER race suit, and COVERED Footwear.

Show N Shine – Everyone entered in the main part of the day qualifies for our list of Show n Shine Award trophies.

Registration and gates open, will be available for entrants from 10am – 4pm Friday the 14th of February, where competitors can have their vehicle check processed and complete drivers registration, cruise sessions will commence from approx 1pm – 4pm (subject to change). Gates Close Friday at 4pm with everyone offsite by 5pm (No Later!) . Gates open again at 7am on Saturday, and 8am Sunday. The Vehicle Check and Drivers Registration process will be open Saturday 8am – 3pm and Sunday 8:30 – 12pm.

Entries are OPEN! – and limited to the first 400 Entries Only. Your entry fee includes Vehicle, driver levy and 1 Driver entry to ALL sessions as above. No Part event entries sorry.

No Wof? No Reg? No Cert? – No worries!! This is a racetrack – BUT, your car must pass a safety check before being able to go out on track, this includes but is not limited to Having – a secure battery, working brake lights, safety belts or harnesses up to standard, undergoing a fuel and wiring system inspection etc.

A Full and Current Drivers license is required to be a driver at our events.

Extra (Secondary) drivers – are additional to General Admission fees, and are for anyone who will be wanting to drive a car as an extra driver. They must attend a driver’s briefing and fill out the paperwork required and there is a fee of $100 per extra driver. A Minimum Restricted Drivers license is required to be a driver at our events.

Passengers – All passengers that go out on track at Taupo International Motorsport Park, are required to sign an indemnity form before being allowed out on track. To make sure this is done passengers bands are issued to all passengers. These can be purchased from the merch garage Minimum Required Height Rule for passengers. If you are younger than 15 Years of age you must be at least 148cm tall.

Note: Drivers’ bands double up as Passenger bands, you do not need to purchase both.

There is to be NO Alcohol Brought onto the venue. Vehicles will be checked and any found will be confiscated upon entering the venue
